Fall Colors with the Colorful Seasons bundle

Do you love all the colors of fall leaves? In your craft room, it’s easy to use a few ink pads to make them as wild or subdued as you like!

Last week I shared this photo on my Facebook page of some leaves I had inked up for fall projects:

Stampin

Autumn Leaves die cut with the Stampin Up! Big Shot and Colorful Seasons bundle, then colored with various ink pads and sponge daubers.

How To Create Today’s Fall Card

I started this card with Stampin’ Up! Crushed Curry Cardstock and the Colorful Seasons Bundle. If you look closely at the stamp pads in the photo, you’ll see that the ink colors I used are Wild Wasabi, Tangerine Tango, Soft Suede, Pumpkin Pie, Crumb Cake, Flirty Flamingo and Lemon Lime Twist – all from Stampin’ Up!.

After using the Big Shot to die cut the leaves with the Seasonal Layers Thinlits , I just used sponge daubers to add the various colors – lots of fun and no two alike!

Today I’m sharing the first project I made with these leaves.  In the original version of this card, I left the front plain and added the sentiment on the inside:

Words or no words?

However, I wasn’t satisfied with the front of the card being so plain, so I added a few words from the Tabs for Everything stamp set, like happy, smile, and enjoy, with Tangerine Tango ink. What do you think – keep the words or leave them off?
