Four Fable Friends Celebrate Easter

Today, Fable Friends are celebrating Easter on these four spring cards! Choose your favorite pretty paper from your stash, then add the characters from Fable Friends to create all your Easter cards! Here’s some inspiration to get your creativity started. I chose the little duck family for 2 cards, the darling bunny for another one, and the cheery squirrel for the last card.

Fable Friends Ducks

Easter card featuring the Fable Friends mother duck, followed by her three babies.

This mother duck is out for a stroll with her three darling babies. They’re all dressed in their matching Easter outfits! I paper-pieced mom’s jacket, while the baby jackets and hats are colored with Stampin’ Write markers. With the Layering Ovals dies, it’s easy to create the scalloped oval background for mom and an Easter greeting too!

Besides the family, mother duck is a solo star, proudly showing off her pretty Easter eggs in a basket cut with the Coffee Cups dies. I fussy cut her, and used Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to raise the duck and basket. Isn’t she sweet?

Easter Bunny Too!

The Easter bunny refused to be left out, so here he is – in the tulip garden! I made a Pool Party frame for him with the Layering Ovals dies. Afterwards, I created the greeting banner with the Birthday Banners and Itty Bitty Greetings stamps and the Bunch of Banners dies, adding dimensionals and ribbon behind it.

Fable Friends Squirrel

Finally, the squirrel is out picking pretty yellow flowers for your Easter bouquet! Isn’t he just the cutest? I love to watch the squirrels running up and down the maple tree, around the yard and over the fence, just having a little fun on a warm spring day!

I want to encourage you to use the pretty paper in your stash! Find a piece you love, then choose colors to coordinate with it! If you have a die-cutting machine and some basic die shapes like ovals and squares, use them for your featured image. But if you don’t have one, put one on your wish list, or order one today! It’s a worthwhile investment for card-making and scrapbooking. In the meantime, use your paper cutter to cut squares or rectangles instead.
