Which will it be today, crafting or housework? If you’re like me, crafting is at the top of your list! So go ahead and proudly declare it!
The Crafting Forever stamp set has the perfect sentiment for this declaration, as well as several other crafty sentiments, such as We are Cut Out to Be Friends. In addition, this stamp set includes the Stampin’ Up! copyright image for compliance with their Angel Policy. Today’s card features the scissors image from this set. After all, what self-proclaimed crafter doesn’t have scissors? Here are all of the stamp images included in Crafting Forever.

Begin Creating Your Card Layers
Create your card base: fold the Highland Heather Card Stock in half. Following this step, rub the Embossing Buddy over the Whisper White card stock and stamp the scissors image repeatedly on it with Versamark ink.
Sprinkle black embossing powder over the Versamark ink. Finally, heat it with the heat tool in order to melt the powder. As a result, you will create beautiful black raised shiny scissors to color!
Attach the Whisper White layer to your card base with SNAIL or other adhesive. Then choose your favorite Stampin’ Blends colors, and brighten up the scissors handles, either all in the same color, or multiple colors.
Add the Crafting or Housework Sentiment
To create the sentiment, cut a scrap of Gorgeous Grape card stock to approximately 1-3/4″ x 2-1/2″. Secondly, emboss the greeting by stamping it with Versamark ink, as we did above. This time, sprinkle the stamped image with Whisper White embossing powder and heat it, in order to make it really pop on top of the darker card stock.
Lastly, round the end of the sentiment by inserting one end of it through the center of the circle punch, leaving the other end out of the punch. As a result, you will create a unique shape for this layer!
Embellish and Send Your Creation
Conclude with embellishments – perhaps a few enamel shapes, rhinestones, or other accents. Then send your beautiful creation to a crafty friend, and get back to your housework 🙂
