Make a splash! As a child, did you love to splash in puddles with your rain boots? The Flowering Rain Boots stamp set helps you recreate these memories, or make new ones today! Along with the boots, this set features tulips, daisies, flower seed packets, a flower pot and a watering can. With these images and the coordinating Rain Boots Dies, it’s easy to create lots of cheery spring cards for birthdays or any occasion. Also, when you purchase the stamps and dies as a bundle, you’ll save 10%.
While most of the dies cut the stamped images, notice the additional trellis and rake cultivator dies included in the bundle! These are perfect for creating a garden scene. Or check out the fun sample with the trellis die created by a Stampin’ Up! artist in the card below:
Make a Splash Card Details
Today’s all occasion card is a great way to use your paper scraps. Start by choosing six pieces of patterned paper with the same color scheme, such as these Pumpkin Pie and Basic White scraps. Then cut them to 7/8″ x 2-1/2″ and layer them on a piece of 4 x 5-1/4″ Basic White cardstock. Angle and overlap the pieces for a fun look!
Next stamp the boots and tulips from Flowering Rain Boots in Daffodil Delight ink and die cut them with the Rain Boots dies.
For the flower stems and leaves, stamp in Wild Wasabi ink (retired) or any darker green ink on green cardstock and die cut. Since my goal is to use up scraps, I stamped mine on Gumball Green (retired) cardstock. Also, stamp the greeting in Wild Wasabi ink on Basic White cardstock. The sentiment can be punched with any punch that’s about 1-3/4″, like this scalloped circle punch.

To assemble, choose a 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ card base, score at 4-1/4″ and fold in half. My card base is Early Espresso cardstock. Next attach the white card stock layer with the patterned paper. Adhere the leaves in the center of the patterned paper and the sentiment on the right, near the bottom. Using Stampin’ Dimensionals, pop up the Rain Boots on the left and line up the tulips above the stems.
That’s it! One stamp and die bundle, two color of ink, two colors of cardstock and some paper scraps are all you need to create some rain boots and tulips cards today.
