Inspiration

Where can you find creative inspiration? The inspiration for today’s card comes from a rather unlikely source! What inspires you to create? For me, it could be scenery, a dress, a sweater, a photo, or another card. However, I was inspired to create this particular card when I saw this tissue box in the bathroom! Triangles Everywhere After playing around with the Stampin’ Up! Stitched Triangles Dies for a couple of days, I started noticing triangles more frequently. Does that ever happen to you? Once you really pay attention to a color, shape, or pattern, all of a sudden you…

Stampin’ Up! Stitched Triangles Dies

When you’re looking for a versatile die set to create handmade cards for all occasions, look no further than the Stampin’ Up! Stitched Triangles Dies! I’ve been having so much fun creating cards from Valentines to Christmas, and birthdays to special occasions with these dies. An example of this coordination can be seen in the butterfly card below. Large Right Triangles When you want to create a triangle split card design, the right triangle dies…

Peaceful Woodlands

It’s That Time of Year

We awoke to snow on the ground on Saturday morning in Green Bay, and I must say, I’m not really ready for it. On Friday it was in the 60’s, on Saturday – only in the 30’s!

To create this woodlands scene, apply Versamark ink to the Stampin’ Up! Woodland embossing folder before running it through the Big Shot. Then apply gold embossing powder and heat it with the heat tool until the powder melts. Decorate as desired with glimmer paper, sequins or other embellishments.
Use the Christmas Greetings thinlits dies and fine tip glue pen to add a sentiment.
