Easter Wishes

Ready for spring? I am! So I have an Easter card for you today to turn your thoughts far from the frigid cold outside. What can be a more appropriate color combination than Daffodil Delight and Wisteria Wonder to lift your mood today? At least if it’s cold it can be sunny!

Hope you have time to create something fun today!

Quick Thank You

Hi everyone –
Today I’m sharing a quick thank you card which started with trying to use up the Cajun craze scalloped oval embossed with the Square Lattice embossing folder. I think typing that sentence took longer than making the card – lol! I simply chose the rose image from the Beyond the Garden paper and cut it with the largest oval die. Then I embellished it with a ribbon, a few candy dots and added a sentiment. Easy…done! To create your own quick card, here’s a list of the products used:

Birthday Petals

When I think of warmer weather (and who doesn’t dream of warmer weather with the unpredictable winter we’ve had!), the first thing that comes to mind is that my favorite spring flowers will be popping up through the snow, hopefully soon. Since the weather is still snowy/rainy here and the flowers haven’t popped yet, I soothed my spring longing by creating a bright and cheery birthday card. What will you be creating while you’re waiting for temperatures to rise to higher digits? Ready to make your own spring flowers? The items used for this card are listed below. Inspired by Stampin’ Success and Perfectly Preserved

Inspired by some cards using the Perfectly Preserved Stamp Set, I created this vase of cute flowers on a tablecloth of More Mustard DSP.

I really like the color combo of Island Indigo, More Mustard, Old Olive and Raspberry Ripple.

Stamps: Perfectly Preserved (126690 W, 126692C)

Paper: Naturals Ivory (101849), More Mustard (ret), Island Indigo (122923) cardstock, DSP (ret)
Ink: Soft Suede (126978), Old Olive (126953), Island Indigo (126986), Raspberry Ripple(126859), More Mustard(ret) Classic Stampin’ Pads
Other: Linen Thread (104199), Petite Curly Label Punch (129405), 3/16″ Corner Punch (119871), Cannery Set Framelits Dies (ret), Early Espresso rbbon (ret)

Another Hummingbird Miracle

Here’s another little hummingbird created from the Sale-a-Bration set called Bloomin’ Marvelous. It uses mostly retired products (Regal Rose and Certainly Celery Cardstock and retired DSP, as well as the Vine Street embossing folder), but the layout could be used with other similar current stamp sets, such as Elements of Style (118611 W, 120645 C) or Wildflower Meadow (129165).
