Fall Colors with the Colorful Seasons bundle

Do you love all the colors of fall leaves? In your craft room, it’s easy to use a few ink pads to make them as wild or subdued as you like! Pumpkin Spice Latte Season

With the cooler weather arriving here, and school back in session, it’s time to embrace all the things we love about the Fall season! Today’s card is for all my coffee-lovin’ friends who enjoy a great cup of Pumpkin Spice Latte! To create this card: Cut a card base (8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, folded in half) in Stampin’ Up! Crushed Curry cardstock – such a bright, happy color that pairs well with Early Espresso, Soft Suede and many shades of green. Thankful

Thankful for You

With the Thanksgiving holiday this week, there’s no better time than now to think about the people in your life that you’re grateful for, and let them know what they mean to you. This easy card we created in class this month can be sent for Thanksgiving, or really any time of year!
Photo of Thankful for You card with Stampin' Up! Blooms and Bliss paper and Sheltering Tree greeting
Card Base: Rich Razzleberry Card Stock,  cut to 5-1/2” x  8-1/2”
Flower Layer:  Blooms & Bliss DSP, cut to 3” x 5-1/2”.
Larger Rectangle: Mint Macaron card stock, cut to ¾” x  3”.
Smaller Rectangle: Whisper White ½” wide scrap, long enough for
sentiment, ~2-3/4”. TIP: use a
longer scrap, then trim after stamping the sentiment.
Sentiment:   Stamp ‘Thankful for You’ from the ShelteringTree stamp set in Rich Razzleberry ink
Optional: Add a layer of Whisper White card stock, 5-1/4” x 4” on
the inside to have a lighter area to write on.

It’s A Good Day

Look Out the Window! When you looked out the window this morning, what did you see? Here in Wisconsin, I saw snow! I’m ready to see green grass and flowers blooming everywhere. So I created this little spring scene in my stamp room. Once the scene was complete, I needed a little sentiment, so I chose ‘it’s a good day’ from the Stampin’ Up! Happy Home set. What do you think? Is it a good day? Every morning that I wake up and can get out of bed is a pretty good day! Enjoy your life today!

March 2016 Paper Pumpkin

Easily Adapt Paper Pumpkin I love my Stampin’ Up! Paper Pumpkin kits, but I rarely make all the projects exactly alike. It is so easy to make the pieces provided in the kit uniquely yours by adding a few small touches. The March kit had 4 small gift cards and 4 large gift cards. Drapery Fold Flowering Fields

Experiment with Card Folds Every once in a while, it’s good to shake up your card-making routine by using a different technique. This card features an easy fold that allows you to see both sides of your pretty Designer Series Paper. Flowering Fields Work of Art Last week the box of flowers I ordered in February arrived for the “right time for planting in Wisconsin”. But it’s been cool and rainy lately, so I planted some flowers in my studio instead. Flowering Fields This was my first chance to play with the Stampin’ Up! Lotus Blossoms Made Me Think of You! I think I have Lotus Blossom Fever. Is there such an illness? I’m seriously having so much fun trying different color combinations with this three-step stamp! Cherry On Top

Shoe Box Swap Gather To Stamp Last month at the Song of My Heart Stampers demonstrator meeting we had a shoebox swap! If you don’t know what that is, it’s a get-together where each participant designs a card and cuts all the pieces needed to create their design. Then the cut pieces, along with stamps, ink and embellishments are placed in a shoebox or other container. Everyone goes around the tables and creates the project in each box. It’s so much fun! Glass Block Stamping

Monday CASE of a Pretty Flower Block Card Lately, my time for stamping has been quite limited with all the gardens calling to me for daily weeding and nurturing. You Rock

While I was busy creating the You and Me card the other day, I created a ‘You Rock’ card as well. Once again, it doesn’t look anything like the original card, but here it is in all its glory. 🙂 It features the Adventure Bound paper and the Stampin’ Up! Sheltering Tree stamp.
