Peekaboo Thank You Card

Quick and easy thank you card with Share What You Love paper

When you have beautiful paper, like the Share What You Love Designer Series Paper from Stampin’ Up!, this peekaboo Thank You Card is a snap to create! Simply cut a curve in your pretty paper with paper snips, separate the pieces and layer them on a card base. Next you’ll need a greeting and a couple of embellishments. Here I stamped Thank you in Grapefruit Grove ink, and used the Stitched Shapes dies to cut it out. Because it’s so easy to make these cards, you’ll want to make a bunch to have on hand. This could easily be a…

Lasting Lily Easter Card

Easter Card with Stampin' Up! Lasting Lily stamp set. Color combo: So Saffron, Gorgeous Grape and Highland Heather.

You may find this shocking, but some years I don’t actually get around to making Easter cards! This year I’m determined to do better! My goal is to finish them in the next week so I can send them out on time. After all, Easter will be here before we know it! It’s never too early to get started. I was initially inspired by this sympathy card we made in class in February: Lasting Lily Sympathy Card More Inspiration (and maybe an ulterior motive?) I had some stamped lily images left over, so rather than put them away, I wanted…

Lovely Lattice Thoughts

Petal Pink Lovely Lattice sympathy card with white embossing.

Let the beautiful flowers in the Lovely Lattice stamp set be the center of attention on this sympathy thoughts card! Stamping them in Versamark ink and heat embossing them with white embossing powder is a simple way to allow them to shine. Then, add a little color just on the center of the flowers for a little pop! For this sympathy card, I chose Petal Pink as a soft background, with a Garden Green embossed layer for a bit of contrast. Since I didn’t color the leaves on the stamped Lovely Lattice image, the Layered Leaves embossing folder subtly creates…

Amazing Life stamp set (see it here), it’s perfect for St. Patrick’s Day as well! Send one to each of your special friends! The greeting on this card was heat-embossed to make it really stand out, but you can stamp it in black ink as well. Either way, it will be beautiful! Here’s how to create your own card: SUPPLIES Stamp Sets: Love What You…

Have a Beautiful Birthday

Spring is in the Air In my craft room at least, spring is in the air. We still have snow outside, but the temperature is supposed to reach 60 degrees in a few days, so I have spring fever! Birthday Blossoms for Spring Fever! While flipping through the Stampin’ Up! annual catalog on page 8, I came across this sample and just had to create my own version. The main features I cased were the tag with flowers and stamping background images on the card base. To create this card: Start with an 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Tip Top Taupe…
