Shoe Box Swap Gather To Stamp Last month at the Song of My Heart Stampers demonstrator meeting we had a shoebox swap! If you don’t know what that is, it’s a get-together where each participant designs a card and cuts all the pieces needed to create their design. Then the cut pieces, along with stamps, ink and embellishments are placed in a shoebox or other container. Everyone goes around the tables and creates the project in each box. It’s so much fun! You Light Up My Life & Brighten My Day!

On a gray winter day in Wisconsin, whose day couldn’t use a little brightening? Today I played along with the Pals Paper Arts Challenge (PPA240) and this sketch:
Last week, as I was twiddling around an idea about how I could combine the sentiments I love from two different stamp sets, I saw this PPA sketch and decided to try it out. So here’s what happened…
Simple.
Bright yellow contrasted with winter gray.
A little cut with the paper trimmer.
Punch, punch, punch.
Add a little washi tape.
Done.

PPA211 Color Challenge

This week there’s another color challenge at the Pals Paper Arts – PPA211! Here is the pretty color combo for the challenge and my card :   The inspiration for my creation was this beautiful card by Lynn on Pinterest. I liked the central butterfly image and the colored square layered on an embossed piece of whisper white card stock, so I started with those, but chose to incorporate more Daffodil Delight in my design.
